Corporate Strategy: Creating a Vision in a Dynamic Agile World
Kamnor Consulting works with its clients to make their "strategic process" both comprehensive and truly agile. For established organizations, a strategic process may entail a formal quarterly review process. We help with streamlining that process. For start-up companies or family businesses, the strategic process, may take on a different, informal undertone. Many businesses fail to grasp what a true strategic process is or what constitutes strategy. For instance in software organizations, it is not uncommon to find that a particular methodology, such as agile development is considered a “strategy”; agile turns into a euphemism for lack of planning; as a consequence of which development of products ends up consuming significantly more resources and taking more time. This example is illustrative of how effectiveness of internal operations, or lack thereof is linked to the strategic process of a company. We work with our clients to help improve performance by creating a robust strategic process – which includes design of product and service portfolios. We provide guidance on effective resource allocation as well as a support it by a finely tuned execution process; we also help to develop a reasonable established consensus or clarity in vision among different pockets of the organization so that the vision and mission of the company can be seamlessly translated throughout.
