Organizational Development

 

Kamnor Consulting works with clients to redesign and create organizational structures so they best align with the business objectives. Organizational development is part art and part science which, when carried out properly, allows the integrated human-machine system in any organization to work optimally; it helps unlock efficiency gains and builds competitive advantage.

 

Kamnor utilizes a systematic approach to organizational design. Emphasis is put on analytical rigor and data analysis. The organizational design process incorporates a full understanding of the business objectives as well as customer needs and desires. As we carry out the organizational diagnostic, we insert ourselves into the workings of the organization to have a direct experience of the touchpoints and leverage points. We visualize organizational design alternatives before making recommendations. We work with all stakeholders to get meaningful feedback. Through this entire process, Kamnor focuses on creating an organizational design which is supportive of the immediate goals as well as of the long-term organizational health.

 

 

Moving from Organizational Dysfunction to Cadence

 

Organizational Dysfunction, is a system level dysfunction, where the organizational structure set-up is not conducive to best utilization of the resources and therefore business objectives are not met in an expedient manner. Organizational dysfunction can occur in many different forms. There may be a lack of focus in various pockets of the organization including at the senior management level. Some office teams/individuals may operate in what can be deemed as functional or cultural silos. Organizational dysfunction, in the many different forms it may occur, will have an adverse effect on the organization’s overall health and competitiveness in the market.

 

Kamnor consulting has deep level expertise in addressing such organizational issues and creates what is calls “Organizational Cadence”. Through a careful understanding of the causes of the various types of Organizational Dysfunction prevalent, and consequently by making recommendations to offset the dysfunction, we advise the company leadership to systematically address the relevant issues.
